Everything is not going well. Audrey has left a relationship, her creative life has stalled, and she is carrying a recent loss. Her days are spent teaching art in an aged care home, where she forms an unlikely bond with resident Harold (The Crown’s Jonathan Pryce). The connection opens a space for hard-won clarity around grief, friendship, love, and the work she has avoided. In her directorial debut, Adelaide filmmaker Tilda Cobham-Hervey directs and stars in a film of offbeat warmth and finely judged control, where humour and hurt sit side by side.
