Conveniently located on Goodwood Road, this stylishly appointed Art Deco cinema boasts both the latest in cinema technology and stadium seating comfort. The Capri Theatre is an independent, not-for-profit cinema run by a network of generous volunteers. Built in 1941, it is heritage listed and houses the Theatre Organ Society’s unique world class theatre pipe organ. They play the latest movies and the profit from every ticket you buy goes back into the restoration of this iconic South Australian building and the mighty WurliTzer organ.

Accessibility Information

The Capri Theatre has step-free access into the venue, and an accessible bathroom on the ground floor. Access to the stalls section is via 5 steps, however a wheelchair lift is also available to reach this level.
There are a range of seating options on the stalls level, with ample space for wheelchair users, and also the option to transfer to comfortable double-seater couches in the back row of the stalls. The balcony section does not accommodate mobility access and is reached via 3 sets of stairs.
